Across the Atlantic, there is a continent we don’t see. This is why we’ve chosen this expression to name our group.
We work through developing projects in communications, education and culture to broaden and improve the dialogue between Brazil and African countries.
All of us from tás a ver? have lived in different African countries and feel that, despite the historical links between Brazil and Africa, there are few channels nowadays connecting them. Discover and reveal new perspectives about Africa in Brazil and Brazil in Africa is our main intention.
We work through:
- seeking channels for human exchange, transcending cultural and communication productions;
- improving and expanding the dialogue between businesses, governments and civil society organizations from Brazil and African countries;
- showing contemporary aspects of the African countries which go beyond the stereotypes associated with Africa;
- reinforcing the idea that Africa is a diverse continent, consisting of 54 countries;
- establishing a relationship of exchange between Brazil and Africa;
- creating content that can be reproduced and disseminated freely (CC).
